Tully Toff will contest a very strong TAB Highway Class Three Handicap (1200m) at Warwick Farm, that features overall Country Championships favourite, the unbeaten Noble Boy.
Tully Toff was very impressive early in his campaign, putting together three wins from four starts. He then went for a short break and has returned with a fair trial performance, followed by only beating one home in the Wagga Scamper (1000m) last month.
“We had to find a race for him,” Colvin said.
“It was a nice run at Wagga then we gave him a break, and he done pretty well. He loomed to run on the other day but his condition gave out on him so he needs the run.
“He’ll go to the Championships after this so hopefully he runs well (on Saturday) and we’ll see what happens. I’d like to see him perform well.”
Jake Duffy takes the ride from the inside gate. Tully Toff is a $26 chance with TAB.
