Jessica Dunn, 25, has been a school teacher for a few years, but wants to break free of the classroom.
“I am very lucky because I teach performing arts at Sacred Primary School and I will continue that,” she said.
“I have always wanted to open my own studio and teach music, dance and acting.”
“We are pretty lucky to have so many studios, but I wanted a one-stop studio.”
Ms Dunn said in her time teaching, she has noticed the plethora of talent in Wagga’s students and she can’t wait to help nurture that.
“Growing up, I loved singing, dancing and acting, but I had to travel to three different places to do that,” she said.

“Being a school teacher was also important for me to reach this dream, as I got a degree and learned how to cater to children with diverse needs.”
Ms Dunn said she loved performing in musicals because she could sing, dance and act.
“I was in Beauty and the Beast, Boy from Oz, Annie and Little Shop of Horrors,” she said.
“I was lucky enough to win a Canberra Area Theatre award in Year 12 for one of my roles and after that I had a whole new love for it.”
Ms Dunn said for children aspiring to live life on the stage, it used to be hard living in Wagga.
“Sydney and Melbourne are obviously your big-ticket items, but I think Wagga has it all know,” she said.
“There is everything for them these days and they are also bringing into the schools even more.
“There are so many amazing and talented kids who grew up here and now are studying in Sydney or Melbourne and I know they are going to make it.”
Ms Dunn said it will be a family affair with one sister teaching dance and another helping out with administration.
“The support has been amazing so far,” she said.
“I couldn’t do this without the support of my family and community who are backing me.
“I am very enthusiastic.”
