There is still no word about the multi-million dollar apartment complex behind Romano’s Hotel that was submitted to Wagga City Council mid last year.

The proposed ‘Riverside’ complex, estimated at a $25 million investment in the city, will feature 60 apartments in the 10-storey block, two ground-floor office spaces and secure parking on Sturt Street.
Fitzpatricks Real Estate agent Greg Howick said there is “nothing to report, I am afraid”.
“January was a write off for the consultants and council, but we are hoping for some action and results in February,” Mr Howick said.
A council spokesperson said the current development application that was submitted in May is still “active”.
“The proponent is working on a revised proposal for council consideration,” the spokesperson said.
“Council is unable to provide comment until such time as that process has progressed.”
