Mr Lihou’s book, Revenge of the Cannibal Chickens, has been published by a Welsh company and is set for worldwide exposure mid-year.
Wagga readers, though, are already able to grab a copy and read about the exploits of Dougy and Dermot, the chickens at the centre of Mr Lihou’s story.
Mr Lihou is dad and a teacher with almost 30 years’ classroom experience and he used these experiences to write a book that would encourage children to read and provide strong role models.
While signing copies of Revenge, Mr Lihou was able to assure young fans he is working on future installments.
