Wagga Beach could soon attract a number of vendors.
Kirkys Coffee owner Luke Kirkman said he thought the trial was a good idea but he was not sure if there was enough to get a definitive result for the council.
Mr Kirkman said he had operated his food and coffee van for about six months prior to the trial, mainly attending events around Wagga.

On Saturday, Mr Kirkman set up at Wagga Beach.
I think a lot of people dont yet know were here, so they dont bring cash, he said.
Perhaps the council might look at advertising that the trial is on.
Wagga councillors approved a three month trial late last year that opened up some public areas to food vans.
The trial sparked debate about potential adverse effects on established businesses.
What the Pop ice cream van owner Lucy Wood said she hoped to get started next week following a delay.
Our ice creams are very refreshing and are perfect for this hot weather so Im dying to get started, she said.
