After Cootamundra failed to challenge in the lead up to Christmas, West Wyalong has also withdrawn from the competition.
West Wyalong, who held the cup over the winter in 2017, signalled late last year player availability could be a concern.
Vice president Gerard O’Brien confirmed the unavailability of senior players and the holidays was the reasons for the forfeit.
West Wyalong were the last team to fill a slot and the forfeit means they’ve avoided a three-hour trip to tackle a side who have already dismantled Holbrook and Ardlethan-Barellan this season.
Temora holds the right to the next challenge on January 20.
