Here is a list of activities, all in one place, which might make it a bit easier to fend off any holiday boredom.
1. Jackdaw Film Series presents Just for Kids
Escape the heat and explore a world of great films as the Art Gallery is transformed into a lounge-style cinémathèque – complete with massive digital surround sound for the full big screen experience.
This is a free holiday program specially curated for children of all ages – the young and the young at heart.
For two weeks, from Wednesday to Friday, they will be screening twelve films across six days, featuring an eclectic selection of innovative animation and live action and adventure family classics.
Just for Kids starts on January 16 and finishes on January 25, with free screenings twice daily at 10am and 2pm.
Films include The Secret Life of Pets, Moana, Zootopia and Matilda.
No bookings are required however children must be accompanied by an adult.

2. Oasis School Holiday Program
Escape the heat and splash around.
Staff are running activities in Bolton Park Stadium and inflatables at the Oasis Aquatic Centre.
Activities are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 12pm.
Oasis School Carnival Race Clinic
The school carnival race clinic is for children who are wanting to practice their starts, strokes, turns and finishes to give them confidence and refine their skills for school swimming carnivals.
Monday is freestyle, Wednesday is breaststroke and butterfly and Friday is backstroke.
Diving Boards and Inflatables at the Oasis
On alternate days throughout the holidays the centre will be running their inflatables and the diving boards. Stay posted on their social media pages to see more information
Summer Movie Night at the Oasis
The movie night will be back again and feel free to bring the family down with some inflatables to enjoy a movie in the 50 metre pool.
This event is free entry so bring the whole gang on January 24.
3. Holiday Activities at the Library
Every day Wagga City Library is open in the School Holidays, staff are putting out blocks, games, craft, and firing up the X-Box Kinect.
Children can exercise their creativity, burn off some energy, and meet others in the Children's Area, while parents relax in the air-conditioning with a cuppa, and maybe even get some holiday reading done.

4. Willans Hill Miniature Railway Rides
Running every second Sunday during January and February, enjoy a ride on Wagga's Miniature Railway with over two kilometres of track weaving through gardens, woodlands and a tunnel.
Trains runs 10.30am to 4pm with a lunch break from 12.30pm to 1.30pm and covered footwear essential.
Please note, trains may not run if summer temperatures rise above 35 degrees.
