After winning the race last year, and finishing second in 2016, the Nathan Hurst-trained pacer has drawn eight in the $15,000 final.
He comes into the race in good form with two wins in his last four starts.
After combining last year for the win, Cameron Hart takes the drive.
Griffith Cup winner Ned Pepper is also in the field.
