Thieves targeted cars, bikes, and wallets as a wave of burglaries broke out over the weekend.

In the early hours of Saturday morning thieves broke into a 2005 black Chrysler Voyager on Rae Road in Griffith and drove away in it.
The car’s burned out remains were found smoldering on Mirrool Branch Canal Road in Hanwood at around 8.45pm.
Between 10.30pm on Friday and 7am on Saturday a thief broke into a house on Erskine Road, stole the keys to a 2018 Mahindra ute and drove it away.
Police managed to retrieve the ute on Brayne Road at 11am, but the thieves had taken a wallet, some tools, and two square LED work lights.
At midnight on Saturday robbers broke into a unit in Ulong Street and stole phones, car keys, and debit cards.
The following day between 6pm on Sunday and 5.20am on Monday two cars were broken into and had their contents robbed on Willandra Avenue.
The thieves took wallets, a tablet computer, mobile phone, and ID papers.
Over the weekend there were several pushbikes stolen from all across Griffith.
Two of them were stolen from Meakin Street in Griffith between 6pm on Sunday and 8.45am on Monday.
Thieves took an orange men’s mountain bike and a purple Malvern Star children’s bike.
On Sunday evening there were another two bikes stolen: a blue Gekko mountain bike on Wakaden Street and an orange lady’s bike on Rovere Place.
