Kooringal was successful in getting four yearlings into the sales, which begins on Wednesday.
Two The Brothers War colts will go under the hammer for Kooringal, one a half brother to group two winner Diamond Tathagata.
Kooringal will also offer two fillies. The first foal from the Chris Heywood-trained Dantains Spirit, a filly by Magic Albert, and a Nicconi filly that is a half sister to Craig Widdison’s recent winner, Banger.
“It’s a tough sale to get into but they are all nice horses,” Kooringal Stud principal Stuart Lamont said.
“I expect the Nicconi and Magic Albert yearlings to sell particularly well. They are lovely fillies, but we’ll see how they all go.”
The half brother to Diamond Tathagata, out of Maltese, is in the first book on Wednesday while the other three are in the second book and will be auctioned off on Sunday.
