Now just to stretch the point to suit my purposes, visiting the theatre can be like a mini vacation. You experience something that takes you out of time and place, to travel from the comfort of a well-padded seat. As you start to reflect on the challenges and opportunities 2019 will bring your way I suggest spending some time thinking about what’s on offer at the theatre.
There are eleven shows on offer in Season 2019. To be a subscriber you need to choose a minimum of four shows that appeal to you. The 2019 Season offers plays including Much Ado About Nothing, Sunset Strip and Two, political satire with The Gospel According to Paul and The Wharf Revue, music from Katie Noonan with the Australian String Quartet and The Sapphires, dance from The Australian Ballet’s Coppelia and 100 Years of the History of Dance.
