Man injured in wreckers accident now stable
A 53-year-old Wagga man will spend his Christmas Day inside Sydney St George Hospital following a workplace accident last week.

He and another 67-year-old man was injured when a car collapsed over the Wagga Motor Wreckers in Glenfield Park.
The other man was taken from the Fernleigh Road scene to Wagga Base Hospital, where had his serious injuries treated.
It is understood he sustained lacerations and fractures to his limbs.
Following airlift to Sydney, the 53-year-old man has remained under observation in the ICU ward of Sydney’s St George Hospital.
He remains in a critical condition, but is now stable.
WorkSafe NSW is continuing to investigate the events leading up to the incident.
