The heavy downpour that hit Wagga on Thursday has put a line through some matches but not any of Saturday’s first grade fixtures.
The first and second grade Twenty20 matches between Kooringal Colts and St Michaels scheduled for Friday night were washed out.
Saturday’s second grade game between Wagga City and Wagga RSL at Geoff Lawson Oval is already washed out.
Wagga Cricket operations manager Mel Rosengren said that the second grade game between South Wagga and St Michaels at Wagga Cricket Ground was also doubtful.
McPherson Oval and Rawlings Park pitches had been covered, while Rosengren had not heard any reports from Robertson Oval but it was expected to be right to go by Saturday at 1pm.
