Richard Wooden, 21, has pleaded not guilty to one count of reckless wounding after the December 3 incident in Ashmont.
He was denied bail by police on Monday after his arrest in Tumut, but granted conditional release the following day in Wagga Local Court.
Mr Wooden’s case will progress when he returns to court on January 9.
