Peter Cox and Stephen Holt said their new tour is a “historical and hysterical pub tour”.
“We are travelling around Fitzmaurice Street, stopping for a drink and learning about the weird and wonderful stories that existed in this area,” Mr Cox said.
Last Drinks is a two-hour walk around the Fitzmaurice Street end of Wagga learning about the history of the hotels that once existed in this area.
“Characters have been created to tell the hilarious and tragic stories of these pubs, the characters, the murder and mayhem that went on in those days gone by,” Mr Holt said.
“Everyone will be supplied with their own headset, so they won't miss a word,” Mr Cox added.
From the stories about a publican who shot a tenant for being late in rent to 60 pubs at one time in Wagga – with 15 run by women.
“They probably were the only ones to not drink the profits,” Mr Cox said.
“They would have run a tighter ship,” Mr Holt said.
