Carl Little and Shyheim Little fronted Wagga District Court on Monday morning, each charged with intimidation in circumstances of special aggravation.
Carl Little is also charged disarming a rifle with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Both men pleaded not guilty to each charge.
Prosecutors allege the pair entered the Mill Street home on January 5 last year before Carl Little fired a bullet at the resident.
Carl Little remains remanded in custody, while Shyheim will be on bail throughout the trial.
The trial was adjourned on Monday morning so the parties could agree on which witnesses were allowed to be called throughout the trial.
The trial is expected to last one week.
