Inspire Church hosted their second annual Chrismas Spectacular as a way to remind people about the origins of the holiday and the values, said lead pastor Brendan McMartin.
“This season is all about giving to others,” he said.
Mr McMartin said he was pleased to see such a huge turnout for the Christmas Spectacular.
“We weren’t expecting the rain, but it won’t stop the fun,” he said.
Mr McMartin said he would encourage the community to keep one message in mind during the holiday in the season.
“We have to remember the reason was the birth of Jesus to bring us joy and peace and remembering that makes us enjoy it even more,” he said.
“This season is all about giving to others and giving encouragement and love.
“We should always be doing it but this time is a good reminder.”
When addressing the crowd at the event, Mr McMartin thanked the volunteers, singers, dancers and tech crew who made the night possible and welcomed all to enjoy the evening.
“We are all family here,” he said.
Mr McMartin invited anyone interested to join the Christmas Eve service at Inspire Church from 7pm.
