The latest came at 4:30 on Sunday morning, when crews attached to Turvey Park Fire Station were called to Loch Street in Ashmont.
Arriving moments later, the firefighters worked to extinguish the abandoned vehicle at the location.
Spokespeople for Wagga’s fire department shared a grave warning to potential perpetrators.
“The weather is getting a lot warmer, and although it’s not a total fire ban at the moment, we’re still seeing pretty strong and hot winds that could really turn a small fire into something devastating,” Turvey Park’s spokesperson said.
The message follows another separate incident that occurred on Saturday night.
Just after 8pm, crews were deployed to Holbrook Road near Springvale to negotiate a grass fire.
While the causes of the fire are still under investigation, Turvey Park’s spokesperson admitted the circumstances appeared suspicious.
