Luvumum won a heat of the Griffith Pacers Cup last month before finishing second in the final behind Ned Pepper.
She meets another Griffith Cup placegetter Million Dollar Gem in what is a quality fast class race.
The Alfredtown trainer expects another good showing.
“It’s as good a race I’ve seen around here for a while,” Stockton said.
“But I think she’s right up there with them.
“I’m going in confident and there are some good horses in it but over a mile I’ll be going forward and we’ve drawn alright.”
Bayley Duck takes the drive with Stockton looking to utilise his concession claim.
Stockton is happy with how she comes into the race.
“She’s had four weeks since the Griffith Cup and I’ve freshened her up,” he said. “She’s jumping out of her skin and I think she’ll be pretty sharp for the 1700 this week.”
He rates Million Dollar Gem the main danger despite Four Shotzzz winning five in a row before finishing a head away at Melton last time out.
“I think she’s as good as I’ve ever had her,” Stockton said.“Her trackwork was as good as she’s ever worked at home but I am worried about Million Dollar Gem.
“We’re going forward, going to be driven aggressively and I won’t be handing up the chair so if Four Shotzzz wants to come around it might just make it for Million Dollar Gem but it depends on if we get the front.”
