Two of the region’s more promising conveyances, Bennelong Dancer and Vivendi, will tackle the $75,000 TAB Highway Class Three Handicap (1400m).
Bennelong Dancer resumed from a spell with a slashing victory on her home track at Albury last month.
That was just her second start since running fourth in the $500,000 Country Championships Final at Randwick earlier in the year.
Now trained by Graham Hulm’s daughter, Donna Scott, Bennelong Dancer is being aimed towards next year’s Country Championships.
Blaike McDougall retains the ride and his two kilogram metropolitan claim will help the five-year-old get in with just 56.5 kilograms.
Vivendi will provide Albury trainer Mitchell Beer with his first Highway runner, after making the move from Mornington a few months ago.
Vivendi has won three of her four starts since joining Beer’s stable. The four-year-old mare will be ridden by Simon Miller.
The Albury pair have drawn alongside each other in barriers 12 and 13.
TAB has Bennelong Dancer at $7.50 and Vivendi at $26.
