Kooringal Colts teammates Kaitlin Logan and Perri Nash will combine once more as part of NSW’s PSSA team heading to the national championships.
After being part of the carnival last season, both have been selected in the state side and will play in Western Australia later this month.
The pair head to Sydney for a training session later this week before heading over to Bunbury for the titles.
Both 12-year-olds are excited for the big trip.
Their selection comes off strong performances for Riverina.
For the second year running Riverina finished third at the state championships with Logan and Nash both impressing, particularly with the bat, before they fell to Mackillop.
Nash, a South Wagga Public student, was named champion player for the tournament with her batting prowess at the top of the order.
She was forced to retire after reaching 50 three times during the tournament.
Logan also brought up a 50 batting at number four.
