Defending 319 at Robertson Oval on Saturday, the Bulls bowled out the Saints for 190.
They then had them three down in their second innings before played was called out with St Michaels at 3-76.
Skelly picked up all three second-innings wickets to finish with nine for the day.
Captain Kurt Robertson was impressed with his efforts.
“He was turning it a fair bit and had it on a string for a while,” Robertson said.
“He got a couple of wickets then took a couple more quick so I was pretty happy with how he went.”
Brendan Gale top scored with 52 for St Michaels while Beck Frostick (37), Dave Garness (35) and Chris Donaldson (33) all contributed.
A 51-run last wicket partnership with Garness and Tom Williams (17) helped save any chance of an outright result but still sees Lake Albert sit comfortably third.
After going down to Wagga City in Friday night’s Twenty20 Robertson was pleased with how the team bounced back.
