It comes following the chamber’s AGM in late November this year.
The strategy will incorporate more activities for members, including the annual Golden Crow Awards in which planning has already begun.
“We are planning a spectacular demonstration of local talent and showcase of businesses,” chamber president Danielle Pascoe said.
“Nominations open in February 2019 with the awards taking place on Saturday June 22.”
“A major highlight for 2018 was the successful delivery of the awards.”
We are totally reliant on membership and sponsorship dollars as our only source of funding.

In 2018 the awards program consisted of 15 awards with nine of those winners progressing on to the NSW Business Chamber Regional Awards, and one progressing to the State Awards.
“The Golden Crow Awards is the biggest event on the Chamber calendar and we are excited to bring it to the business community each year,” Mrs Pascoe said.
As well, additional monthly events are set to ensure continual connections among members of the business community.
“We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a monthly ‘Drop in Drinks’ event that is open to the entire business community,” Mrs Pascoe.
“As well as an additional members only event: Lunch and Learn’.
Drop in Drinks offers an informal opportunity for like-minded business people to connect, exchange business cards and establish relationships.
The Lunch and Learn series offers members the opportunity to hear from speakers on various topical issues during their lunch breaks.
“Wagga Business Chamber is a not-for-profit organisation that is led by a volunteer board of directors,” Mrs Pascoe said.
“We are totally reliant on membership and sponsorship dollars as our only source of funding.”
At the AGM, Mrs Pascoe was re-elected as president with Caleb Richards as vice president and Yana Robinson as treasurer.
“Daniel Donebus, Tim McMullen, Michelle Weick and Rhyley Hunter have been re-elected for a two-year term and we are delighted to have two new board members that have joined the team: Jennifer Hand and Rhys Bower,” Mrs Pascoe said.
Casey Wilson also joined the chamber earlier this year as its relationship-development manager.
