The Kerrie Tuovi-trained bitch made it five wins in her last six starts as she bounced to the front from box seven and was never headed in the AGM & Club Xmas Party 16/12 Stakes (320m).
It brings her record to the five wins plus three placings from 10 starts and is giving Lake Albert couple Kerrie and Jason Tuovi a real thrill in the process.
“She’s going alright the girl isn’t she?,” Jason Tuovi said.
“She loves the wide alley as she seems to like the idea of running into her own space and not being crowded.
“She seems to know that when she’s at the top of the field that she’s on her own and kicks into gear a bit more.”
Sycamore Lou Lou ($1.80) went on to defeat Magic Blaze ($5.80) by ¾ lengths, with her time of 18.39 seconds the best of the night, and make it back-to-back wins.
All of her wins have been over the 320 metres, but now the couple are trying to plot a path to further success.
However midweek racing at venues like Goulburn and Shepparton are difficult to manage so they’re not sure what lies in wait for the promising bitch.
"She certainly looks like she can run a little bit further but it about being patient,” Tuovi said. “I’ll get her muscles checked (on Monday) then we will sit back and have a bit of a look.
“Wagga doesn’t race over the next two weeks so there is a bit of a gap and we aren’t sure what to do.”
Honours were split across the card with 10 different trainers tasting success.
