Metcalfe rode a winning double on the big day, saluting on As Bad As Tyson ($8.50) and Warragul ($10.00).
As Bad As Tyson’s win was the third leg of a winning treble for Wodonga trainer Craig Widdison.
He also had Wyangle finish third in the Cup, behind the Logan McGill-trained Gold Fields ($5.00).
Albury galloper Spunlago finished fourth in the Cup, while Wagga pair Danetrille and Class Clown finished 10th and 11th respectively.
