Angland underwent surgery on Monday after a race fall at Sha Tin on Sunday night.
A Hong Kong Jockey Club official announced on Tuesday that Angland was out of surgery and in a serious but stable condition.
Angland’s wife Erin has flown to Hong Kong to be by his side.
