Wagga Police Inspector Ryan Sheaff said they were investigating reports of a break-and-enter incident at a Gregadoo property earlier this week.
“Between 8pm Monday and 8am Tuesday, an unregistered trailer and quad bike were stolen,” Inspector Sheaff alleged.
“Along with a generator and some tools.”
The agricultural trailer has the vice on its side and a two-wheel bench grinder on the other side.
The generator is an 8kva Gentech with an electric start.
The quad bike is a red 2013 Honda TRX 250.
Following the incident, Wagga police attended and assessed the scene at the property near Gregadoo Road and Elizabeth Avenue.
Police continue to conduct forensic assessments.
“We’re still in contact with the victim to identify the offenders,” Inspector Sheaff said.
“We’re waiting for forensic results to come back before progressing.”
Inspector Sheaff said that there were people “who unfortunately take opportunities to commit these crimes”.
“Just be mindful of securing as many items as you can on your property and be vigilant,” he said.
Anyone with more information about this incident is urged to contact Wagga Police Station on 6922 2599 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
