A four-year-old boy was taken to hospital after suffering an injury to his head this afternoon.

At about 4.50pm, ambulance were called to Wagga Skate Park after reports of a boy falling off his skateboard.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said the boy “reportedly hit a fence while on the skateboard”.
“He fell and hit his head, sustaining an open wound,” the spokesperson said.
“He was conscious and breathing, we sent two crews to the scene.”
Paramedics assessed and treated the boy at the scene before transporting him to Wagga Base Hospital.
“They treated the boy to control and stop the bleeding,” the spokesperson said.
He remained in a stable condition.
Just prior to the incident, ambulance was called to Tarcutta Street after reports of a man sustaining a dog bite.
The spokesperson said the man sustained superficial bite and was treated at the scene.
