Riveirna athletes will get another competitive opportunity ahead of the representative season at Sunday’s Wagga Little Athletics Club’s annual carnival.

Jubilee Park will reopen after this week’s rain and the club has received around strong entries from right across the region.
“The track’s definitely open for Sunday,” club president Hamish Wheatley said.
“We've got about 250 entries, which is really good, ranging from towns all around, from Griffith and Leeton to Albury, Lavington, Tumbarumba, Tumut. So they’re coming from right around the area.”
It’s the last carnival in Wagga before the Eastern Riverina zone carnival in early December. Regionals are in Griffith in February.
