The session will be held in the foyer of the Wagga Civic Centre, from 9.30am to 4pm.
On display during the community drop-in information session will be artist’s impressions of the stage 3 multi-storey building and floor plans. Members of the redevelopment project team will also be on hand.
Wagga Health Service director said early works on the site had been completed and construction is due to start in the first part of 2019.
“The positive response to our drop-in information sessions in the Marketplace and in the Wagga Base Hospital foyer during the last two months has been very positive and constructive,” Ms Cooper said.
“The engagement with community and staff comes as tenders for the main works construction have recently closed and the contract is due to be announced before the end of this year.”
Stage three includes the construction of a multi-storey ambulatory care building on the hospital site and the relocation of BreastScreen NSW to Berry Street.
