Stuart, who has also coached NSW and Australia, will take a field session at the Riverina Bulls CRL Academy Camp at Charles Sturt University.
The camp at Beres Ellwood Oval is in preparation for the junior representative competitions, the Andrew Johns and Laurie Daley Cups.
Stuart’s attendance at the camp is part of the Raiders’ partnership with the Riverina region which sees the NRL club offer coaching support in return for their access to promising young talent.
“It’s great,” Country Rugby League’s regional area manager, David Skinner, said.
“What Ricky’s done is he’s set the bar very high not just for our kids but for other NRL clubs. Him going out to academies will put pressure on other NRL clubs to front up and help in the bush.”
Raiders assistant coach Brett White and former Canberra players Adrian Purtell and Nigel Plum will also take defence, shape and tackling sessions.
The NRL club’s involvement with the academy isn’t specifically related to the Raiders bringing premiership matches to Wagga in the next two years.
But their visit just a month after confirmation that Canberra will play Penrith on Saturday May 4 next year, adds to the positive rugby league news for the region.
