Junee Police Inspector Rob Vergano said the incident involving the two Junee teenagers occurred overnight on Friday and Saturday.
“A building at a Junee school was entered where tools and perishable items were stolen,” Inspector Vergano alleged.
“Police attended and examined the scene.”
Following a call for community information, police interviewed two teenagers on Wednesday.
Inspector Vergano said power tools were also used inside the building.
“I believe there were damages to the lock in the building,” he said.
“Action has been taken against both teenagers under the Young Offenders Act for the offence of aggravated break, enter and steal.”
Inspector Vergano said there were no disruptions to the school and operations resumed as usual on Monday.
