At about 10pm last Saturday, emergency services were called to the event at the Murrumbidgee Turf Club after reports of the man having breathing difficulties.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said paramedics performed CPR on the man at the scene.
“He was conscious and breathing, but at one point he did lose consciousness,” the spokesperson said.
“Two crews attended after which the man was transported to Wagga Base Hospital.”
MTC CEO Scott Sanbrook said the man was treated initially by Wagga Rescue Squad members.
“They did a wonderful job while the ambulance were en route,” Mr Sanbrook said.
“The response was very quick and the patron was transported to hospital.
“It’s terrific news to hear that the patron has subsequently been released.”
Mr Sanbrook also praised other concertgoers who responded positively to the incident.
“How people reacted in that situation was terrific,” he said.
“It happened on outer edge of the crowd, so that also made access for the ambulance a lot easier.”
Close to 4000 people attended the concert and Mr Sanbrook said the event wa an overall success.
“Behaviour was excellent and there was positive reports from the police,” he said.
