Fawns was among the Riverina FNL’s best goal shooters this season and earned selection alongside Jessica Conlan and Grace Korovata, both of whom represented Barellan Netball Association this season.
Korovata also played for Leeton-Whitton and Conlan at Griffith in the Riverina FNL.
All three players will attend state squad camp one on November 18 in a bid to make the second squad cut before a state team is named in December following state squad camp two.
“At each phase, both metro and in the regions, selectors have faced tough decisions,” Netball NSW state pathway manager Margaret Hamley said.
“Athletes that have not been successful in progressing to further phases in 2018 are encouraged to remain confident in their netball abilities – to keep the fire in their belly to achieve their goals and use any disappointment to fuel that fire.”
