Saturday’s concert at the Murrumbidgee Turf Club was the third annual outing.
In previous years, 3000 people have joined the festivities, but this year more than 4000 came through the gates.
“It was pretty terrific to see everyone together having a great time like that,” said event host Scott Sanbrook.
Mr Sanbrook chalks the increased foot traffic down to this year’s major headliners Daryl Braithwaite.
“He was really well received, starting off with the 1970s anthem Howzat and of course the big finish was The Horses,” he said.
“He really built up to it and the crowd loved it.”
With ticket sales originating all over the country, Mr Sanbrook was pleased to see the show receive so much notoriety.
“It really goes to show how important it is as a tourism event too.”
