The third Rock at the Races returned to the Murrumbidgee Turf Club stronger than ever on Saturday.
Ric Herbert and Steve Williams of Matt Finish said the number of people spilling through the gates of the MTC was fantastic.
“We’ve got a 25-minute set, there’s 14 or 15 acts on today, which is extraordinary, and we’re going to punch a hole in it,” Mr Herbert said.
“It's a big crowd, its a great, beautiful day for it, and what’s not to like about a massive open air concert with huge crowds? It’s hit after hit,” Mr Williams said.
Mr Williams, who performed last year with 80s favourite Wa Wa Nee, said the event was just as fun for the bands as it was for the fans.
“These shows are great, because people come here to have a good time, so you’re kind of on side before you even do anything,” he said.
