Eastern Riverina Arts’ ‘Help Us Help Artists’ campaign will see a spectacular painting by artist Gregory Carosi valued at more than $3500 raffled off.
Executive director Scott Howie asked people to buy a raffle ticket not as a donation, but as an investment in the cultural life of the region.
“While it is easy to see some of the big projects we do, what is harder to see is the work we do behind the scenes,” Mr Howie said.
“Being able to advise, develop workshops, promote artists, run our Window Gallery, or open our space for live gigs, be in poetry, comedy, rock, or cabaret is a real joy of the work.”
Tickets are $50 each and you can buy one until the raffle is drawn on December 6.
