The Bulldogs are coming off a win, but the skipper is sure it could have been more if it weren’t for some costly periods against Kooringal Colts and Lake Albert.
“We’re going well without winning unfortunately,” Richards said.
“There has been a couple of close games which we probably should have won.
“We’re probably not playing the game out fully and having a few lapses here and there.
“Especially in T20 cricket if you have a lapse for five overs it can kill you so we’ve really got to focus on not having that lapse.”
South Wagga will be without Brayden Ambler and Luke Gerhard due to Riverina representative duties, which also features RSL’s Nick Grant.
Beau Wright is also out for the Bulldogs but Richards comes back in while Joe Kenny and John Hoey will play for the first time this season.
