Both the under 14s and under 16s SIRU Barbarians sides have competed in the the opening three rounds of competition in Canberra, Bateman’s Bay and Yass with the under 14s collecting gold at the most recent event in Yass.
Now, they’ll have the chance to showcase their skills in front of a home crowd when the Super 7s Series finals come to Wagga.
Youth girls, youth boys and womens sevens sides, including the likes of Ag College, Temora Tuskers and Griffith Blacks will be participating in the finals to be held at Paramore Park on Saturday November 10.
More than 35 teams are expected to attend with cash prizes up for grabs.
Meanwhile, preparations continue for the Andy Bedford-led Southern Inland representative women’s side, who will vie for a place in the Brumbies Super W squad during their upcoming campaign.
