The luckless Wizards broke their duck of losses with a 5-all draw against defending premiers MJR Electrics last week but will have their work cut out for them against The Casuals, who are currently enjoying a four-game winning streak.
The Casuals scored an emphatic 10-5 win over the Wizards back in round one and will prove stiff opposition once again.
In the other men’s game of the round, Quolls will look to defend their second place berth against a resurgent Advanced Communication Cobras outfit.
Cobras saw off Wizards last week and sat just two points behind Quolls, who kept their minor premiership hopes alive with a hard-fought 7-6 win over Electrics.
Meanwhile in the women’s premier grade competition, Don Tuckwell’s Audio will look to lift themselves off the bottom of the ladder with an upset win over the ladder-leading Young Guns.
Tuckies haven’t tasted success since defeating Farmers Home Hotel back in round one and will look to bounce back from a 10-1 shellacking at the hands of reigning champions AKW Jets.
Jets remain four points behind Young Guns, who are hot favourites to take out this year’s competition, and will look for a percentage-boosting win over Farmers after a slow start to the season.
However, Farmers won’t be easybeats after pushing Young Guns in a gritty 5-4 thriller last week and could put themselves in prime position to secure third place with an upset win.
The women’s competition games get underway at 6pm on Tuesday with the men starting at 7pm.
