A pack of cuddly teddy bears came to life on Sunday at the Botanic Gardens when the Teddy Bears Picnic returned.

The Murrumbidgee Rotary Club hosted the fun-filled day to raise money for Ronald McDonald House.
Rotary committee member Jenny Lovekin said plenty of happy children left the gardens with a brand new teddy bear.
“We had this one lady phone us who had been collecting bears for ten years and wanted them to go to a good cause,” Ms Lovekin said.
“There were like 10 bags with 10 bears in each bag, and she said if we only charged just a dollar to go towards Ronald McDonald she’d be very happy with that.”
All proceeds went towards supporting sick children and their families.
