The Regional Bash was in town and we were lucky enough to get to all six games across Robertson Oval and McPherson Oval.
It all boiled down to the final game on Sunday between Wagga Sloggers and ACT Aces, where the Sloggers desperately sought to keep their SCG dream alive with a win over the favoured Aces.
Sadly, it wasn’t to be for the Wagga faithful with ACT cruising to an eventual 47-run win.
The Aces will travel to Sydney next weekend for a semi final date with Central Coast Wranglers but it’s not all gloom for the Sloggers.
After all, they posted a thrilling four-run win over arch-rivals Border Bullets and easily dispatched pool strugglers Murrumbidgee Rangers.
We snapped all the action from across Saturday and Sunday – enjoy!
