Treasure of the Ariah Park B&S Ball committee, Ebony Worland, said she has been going to the event for six years.
“I went to the ball when I turned 18 and then on the committee,” she said.
“It is one of the biggest fundraisers and we donate funds to every little organisation in our town.
“It is definitely a rite of passage.”
Ms Worland said a B&S Ball is nothing like you have ever been to before.
“When you walk through the gates it’s a bit of a ‘wow’ moment, ” she said.
“We worked hard for great acts to entertain everyone and there will be alcohol and good food.
“It’s a great experience, it’s not something you do every weekend and you find so many people who make lifelong friendships and it’s great to support other little towns.”
This year the committee is also trying to encourage people to head on down to the Ariah Park pub for the Friday night.
Tickets will be available at the fire shed from 12pm or pre-purchase here.
