The Riverina Police District has announced it will be hosting the forum in Junee on Wednesday, October 31.
The informal session will allow community members and police to discuss ways of tackling rural crime.
“It’s about the police and community members getting to know one another and discuss concerns they may have,” Junee Police Inspector Rob Vergano said.
“It’s not us telling them what they need to do, but more about us listening and working together.”
It comes after recent reports of suspicious drone sightings and the assault of a drover in the Junee region.
The forum will be similar to the one held in Eurongilly earlier this year, which was instigated after several instances of suspicious activities were reported.
Inspector Vergano said the forum was open to “the whole community.”
“We’ll be happy to listen and speak with whoever attends,” he said.
The forum is at Junee Reefs Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday, October 31.
