The Ladysmith Rose Show and Market day has been a staple community event for 45 years as the main fundraiser for the Memorial Hall.
Joy Hogno, Ann Wakem and Annette White are the committee members determined to keep the tradition going.
Ms Wakem said they need the funds from the day to keep Ladysmith’s hall open.
“It used to be a lot bigger and we had a lot more people helping, but now some got too old and some passed away,” she said.
Ms Hogno said although there is only three of them left on the committee, they get a lot of local support.
“We had dedicated volunteers on the day and locals who have set up stalls,” she said.
There are markets with everything from soaps to tasty treats and plants. Both the women said it was important to have the day to give the community in Ladysmith a chnace to catch up.
“We would also love to see people from outside Ladysmith,” Ms Hogno said.
The Ladysmith Rose Show and Market Day is on this Saturday, from 10am at Memorial Hall, Tumbarumba Road, Ladysmith.
