A Griffith man was left bleeding after the trio allegedly approached and, following a conversation, repeatedly struck him near the Base Hospital at about 3pm.
Police allege the victim’s phone was also stolen.
Following an attempted pursuit of the group, the man said he was struck again.
The alleged offenders were last seen walking east on Noorebar Avenue in Griffith.
They are described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 18 to 24 years old and between 160cm and 180cm tall.
