According to the NBN Co, there are 1800 premises in parts of Bourkelands, Lake Albert, Springvale, Kooringal and Tatton yet to be “switched on”, but these are due to be on the network by May 2019.
There are also more than 2600 premises connected over the NBN’s fixed wireless network.
The national NBN rollout is scheduled to be completed by 2020.
This week the office of the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman has revealed it received 167,831 total complaints were received, an increase of 6.2 per cent, in the year ending June 2018.
A total of 46,703 complaints, or 27.8 per cent, were recorded about internet services, with delays in resolving issues being the top problem.
