The 2018 Mountain Warriors in Table Top has been created by volunteers in the region to cater to those still interested in a fun run.
The funds raised during the November 10 event will be donated to the charity Women’s Refuge.
Event organisers said it aimed “to keep people’s hopes up and to help people celebrate training achievements”.
Lead organiser Fiona Brown said it was not just for Albury-Wodonga, but also “people from all over the region”.
“This includes people in Wagga, Cootamundra and Narrandera who have expressed interests," Ms Brown said.
“We’ve had heaps of support and we’re also trying to get female personal trainers to help on the day.”
This event will be a based on a 5km obstacle course that all fitness levels will be able to complete.
It will be held at the Table Top Mountain and women are encouraged to participate as individuals and groups.
