Olsson was presented with the Lions’ best and fairest at their presentation night last Friday.
Olsson was a clear winner of the best and fairest, ahead of runner up Jesse Lander.
First-year recruit Josh Bubnich finished third in the award.
It was the fourth time Olsson had claimed GGGM’s best and fairest and the win in a strong team that made the preliminary final meant a great deal to the 28-year-old.
Brooke Walsh backed up her league medal win with a win in the Lions’ A grade netball best and fairest.
One of the highlights of the night was an emotional presentation of GGGM life membership posthumously to the late Peter McCaig, who passed away in 2016.
Jason Hamblin, Bill Lucas and Megan Kenny were also recognised for their work at the club and were presented with awards.
