On Tuesday, RAA’s chief executive, Charles Alder, receive $10,000 from Bernardi’s to help their drought relief efforts.
The financial contribution is set to go towards farmers and to help with maintenance works on farms.
“All [the fund] is being spent back in the Forbes community this week,” Mr Alder said.
“I’m currently here with 180 volunteers and we’re working on 14 properties.
“This includes maintenance work, home improvements and other necessity work to lift the mental health of farmers.”

RAA was formed by Mr Alder and his wife, Tracy, as a charity to expand services and support to rural communities not only suffering through natural disasters but communities that need help remaining in existence.
“Every bit of donation counts,” Mr Alder said.
“They all cumulatively make a difference.”
The $10,000 was raised from across all five Bernardi’s stores in NSW, including Wagga.
“We raised the money from donating $1 from each loaf of early rise bread in September,” co-CEO of Bernardi’s Joe Bernardi said.
“At the store level, Wagga held a barbecue fundraiser that made $1600.
“It was very much our customers getting behind it.”
As well as financial donation, the stores also donated about $5000 worth of long-life items to the cause.
